We use a random number generator. We test the random number generator on our system by running millions of rounds and examining the results. We also regularly test the system to ensure its impartiality.
We encourage players to check and analyze the points given on their tiles. Our commission is earned on the winning prizes only and we have no preference for who wins. We never discriminate, nor do we favor any player, group or nationality by tile or any other feature.
- How can I know that I’m playing against real players and not robots?
You have the option of corresponding with your opponents and the watchers via the chat feature. DominoesStars.com does everything possible to ensure that all the players can enjoy a fair game against real opponents. Our main goal is to provide you with good entertainment within a legitimate game.
- How do I move the domino tiles?
Moving the tiles is easy. Just drag the desired tile to the position you have chosen.
- What is the player ranking and how is it calculated?
The ranking system was established in order to determine each player’s skill level. You will receive a ranking after each game and this will decrease or increase according to your performance. We use a FIBS ranking system.

- How do I automatically draw tiles from the bone yard?
Open the Options Window and check the box next to the option “Draw Tile Automatically from the Bone yard.”
- How can I get more play money (practice money) once it runs out?
Each time the play money (practice money / free game) balance is below $20 you can automatically get additional $200 going to the Cashier and clicking on "Get More Money". If you received $200 three times within 24 hours, the system will let you get more money only after 24 hours have passed since you first received $200.
- What happens if I’m playing for real money and the game suddenly gets disconnected?
When a player disconnects, he has 90 seconds to return to the game. If the player has not returned within 90 seconds, he will lose the game along with his stake. The player's ranking will also go down.

For example: Diana played against Roberto
for a $10 stake and 100 points game, each one of them will leave a fee
of $1 and the winner will get $18 (his $9 and his opponent's
$9).
Josh played against Silvia for a $110 stake and 100 points game, each one of them will leave a fee of $5.5 and the winner will get $209 (his $104.5 and his opponent's $104.5).

- What is the Move Time?
Move time is the time each player has to complete his move. A clock next to the player displays the time. The clock will turn red when the time is ending. If the time runs out, the game will automatically be terminated. The player whose time ran out will be the loser.
- Stopping and Continuing a Domino Game
If you started to play a game of dominoes and the game was disconnected you have 90 seconds to reconnect and continue the game. If you do not return within 90 seconds, you will lose the game.
- Prohibited Moves
- It is prohibited to play at DominoesStars.com in places where skill games are illegal.
- It is prohibited to open more than one account per person, computer or address.
- It is prohibited to make use of any software or hardware while playing the game. The DominoesStars.com system can identify any such attempts and will automatically block and close the game without any advance warning by the Dominoes Stars system.
- It is prohibited to play with the clear intention of losing in order to lower your rank and thus create an unfair competitive advantage.
- It is prohibited to play dominoes on DominoesStars.com with the intention of transferring money between players’ accounts.
- It is prohibited to disturb other domino players by using profanities or inappropriate language when chatting.
- It is prohibited to distribute any material over the chat that is considered junk mail like:
1) Profanities
2) Repeating matters that are irrelevant to the game conversation.
3) Advertising or promoting any product or service.
The DominoesStars.com system keeps track of the aforementioned prohibitions. In any situation in which we believe that one or more of the actions from this list, or a similar action were committed, we will immediately and permanently close the account.
Any player found to be committing one of these prohibited actions, will lose his membership with DominoesStars.com. The player will not be allowed to re-register and will be blocked from any participation in games on the site.
