Once a year the best domino players in the western hemisphere meet up in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, for a weekend of domino and potential of $50,000 in cash prizes.

The tournament took place in the classic Hilton Las Vegas and hosted more than 200 players from the United States, Chile, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Panama.
These days, when Las Vegas runs by the thousands of poker players that try to bluff each other, convention hall D in Hilton hosted the next generation of exciting gaming tournament, The World Domino Open.
The tournament was very competitive and emotional and was surprising, because, as in this year poker tournament, the big domino players (stars) didn’t have their domino game on top and none of them made it to the final stages of the domino tournament.

Well known domino champs like Jane Jhonson and Clark Hathaway didn’t qualify for the big prizes but you always feel their presence in such a special event.
