on Nov. 14^th - 16^th, 2008 with Cash prizes of $50,000.

The event will be hosted by R. Paniagua Inc, in association with the Mexican Domino Federation.

In 2005, R. Paniagua Inc. produced the first Domino Tournament in Las Vegas, which also took place at the Las Vegas Hilton. The event garnered the attention of media powerhouse ESPN and it aired on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and ESPN International in April 2006, positioning Dominoes as a global game of skill.

This massive exposure also brought about the need to create similar rules for players from different areas to play under and for new Federations to be formed in countries where dominoes were already popular. This explosion of new federations increased player participation and a structure to create more tournaments.

“ For this years tournament players from the U.S., Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Spain will be converging at the Las Vegas Hilton for what will be the most important tournament of the year”, stated Ralph Paniagua, President of RPI. “There has been so much interest in dominoes since the first event in 2005 and the Hilton in Las Vegas is the perfect place for us to hoist the event.”

The event will be implemented by Ricardo Arias of the Mexican Domino Federation, the leading Domino Federation in the world. “ We are very passionate about dominoes in Mexico and have worked intensely with the Federations from the other countries to devise rules, playing methods and have set a standard that will make all players comfortable”, stated Ricardo Arias, Vice President of the Mexican Domino Federation.
